Outside a Hurghada restaurant I saw a menu. One of the dishes was listed as Muck. Any idea what treat I missed?

Duck, maybe. You can buy them in the supermarkets.

I'd give duck a miss in Egypt if their pigeons are anything to go by. Do the cooks sneak half the flesh off in the kitchen for themselves?

I wouldn't have a clue, I never order it! Nor pigeon. I tend not to eat much meat here anyway, I've not found it to be of any quality.

I can't imagine an Egyptian duck having the appropriate amount of fat on it.

It probably has neither fat nor meat, just a quack.
