Hey ~~ there may be some temporary inconvenience, but AnyPort will be back up to speed soon.
From our host board, posted @ five minutes ago:
We are aware of the slow loading issues affecting one of our servers and are in the process of rectifying the problem.
Apologies for the inconvenience, and we hope to have the server running back at normal speeds shortly.

As of @ 3 p.m. yesterday (CDT) / 10 p.m. Paris / 1 p.m. Tucson, supposedly all the servers were running at normal speeds.
I have not had any problems since that time yesterday, nor are problems still being reported by others to the host board's Support.
If you are still experiencing difficulties with slow-loading, post them in this thread. Please include an explanation of how you're affected -- 30 seconds to load a page, timed-out message, etc.

Our host board is having server problems today, which should be resolved by the time you read this.
If you were unable to access AnyPort earlier today, that is why.

Good to know the computer gods are not out to get me. Why does it always happen when I'm starting a new thread though???

I had some problems about an hour ago (tried both IE and Firefox), but they have magically vanished.

I see your pain and raise:
I was almost through responding to the "bad actors" thread, then accidentally zapped it.
Re-wrote the post, hit Post Reply, and discovered there was no service to the internet.
Getting my strength back to go try again.
