I sort of disgree with the title of this article because I don't look upon the situation as "women taking over the world" and I don't think that it is the way the women see it either. "Taking over" is more the way men think about such positions, no? Nevertheless, I find the contents somewhat encouraging, even though women do not at all have the place they should in the running of most countries. (And I do also realize that a number of these Presidents are powerless figureheads.)

There simply are not enough women in enough powerful positions for them to be 'taking over the world'. I think things will change, but it will be many years before we see any significant change regarding the amount of women in power. I'm sure Margret Thatcher has made many people think twice about voting for woman again in Britain.
