Cor that's a big one.... railings outside the tax office in town... 'public art' up on the wall of The Shires shopping mall...the circles are made of some sort of iridescent ceramic. they pivot in the air currents...with interesting effects

That code that makes the last unread post show does not seem to be working. Just mentioning it here so that people will go to the previous page & see the fantastic photos I almost missed. I love all Casimira's carnival ones, which not only capture the spirit of the occasion, but are super photos. That last one is a real beauty. Great ones on this page too. I particularly like the cookies & that last one with the opening in the brick.

That's a wonderful photo in every way, Cheery -- composition, subject, and the wonderful subtlety of color and texture. It's also great coming right after Casimira's beautifully photographed, sleekly modern example.

Excellent circles, Bixa! Where'd you find #3?
Love yours, too, Kerouac. Is that the inside of the rotunda?

Love yours, too, Kerouac. Is that the inside of the rotunda? Yes, that's the ceiling of the Rotonde de la Villette.

They call Paris the City of Lights, but perhaps it should be the City of Circles!
