What's wrong with that?
Well, some jerk put ketchup on it, but with some decent mustard instead, that is rather doggedly tempting. The bacon should have been chopped up, too.

See?! Iain agrees that the Junkyard Dog has its own special appeal. But ......... In-N-Out Animal Style French Fries ............. I wouldn't put thousand island dressing on my worst enemy's food!

I actually quite liked the sandwich frites you could get in France. Didn't know you could get it with meat too.

I think that whoever convinced the customer that a tiny section of a baguette is a "demi-baguette" is getting away with murder.

Surely, only the French could turn the chip butty into a gourmet treat. I'm having one!

re: The Mother-in-Law. My sister and I had tamal tortas in Tlaxcala. It was early morning outside the market and there was a lady with a huge steaming pot, piles of bread and lots of customers. We asked what she was selling and she said tamal sandwiches. In my adorably dense way, I asked what that was and got a chorus of "a tamal on bread!" from the customers. The vendor would slit a telera , deftly unwrap a steaming tamal and empty it onto the bread. She adorned it with sauce, wrapped the bottom half in a napkin and presented it to the waiting customer. Since a telera is a fairly dense bread and since a tamal is essentially steamed corn dough, we were expecting a gummy mass. What a nice surprise! The two items somehow melded into a new and wonderful foodstuff that was extremely delicious and -- no surprise -- very filling.

So with no cheese it's a Mother-in-Law, & the cheese makes it a Humdinger?
Who thinks of this stuff?

You almost have to admire someone giving in so wholeheartedly to base cravings.
If you'll refer back to the OP of this endlessly appalling thread, you'll see a picture of another choco-baco treat. Reply #37 also features this combo.
I immodestly offer my own Reply #57 for an excellent recipe for a sweet bacon treat. I leave it to you all to supply the chocolate embellishments there.
Going back through this gallery of gastronomic delights, I see many missed opportunities to incorporate bacon and/or chocolate.
