Started well, with Shepherd Neames Spitfire at a pound a bottle. Got better with a visit to Sainsburys, which yielded a couple of Badger Hopping Hares, and then a very nice Buttcombes Gold Bitter, followed by an extremely palatable Dr Orkells India Pale Ale.
Currently enjoying the fabulous J W Lees Moonraker with a nice solid cheddar.
ps. wife and kids are ok too.

Well done Gyro
As far as I am aware you have become the first person to post the same OP on the two sites. Saddo.

Is it possible that Gyro is making up these names?

Iain, I've done it more than once before now, seeing as how it's nice to get replies from both sides. Deliberate, seeing as how I use both. Not a complicated or strange thought process, I wouldn't have thought .....
And no, Baz, all the ales mentioned in the OP are real.

There is a French wine (a Burgundy I think) called Pisse-Dru. I am waiting for an opportunity to give it to our niece's husband who is called Dru.

Is there still a brand of French sodas (soft drinks) called "Pschitt!"
