Fifty years after his famous grandfather, Jacques Cousteau, spent 30 days living in an underwater village at the bottom of the Red Sea, Fabien Cousteau will follow in his footsteps with a similar project twice as deep and one day longer. Mission 31

I'm sure that comfort has increased tenfold (at least) in that period of time, so actually he should stay 300 days to match the exploit. And I'm sure they have wifi to pass the time. In any case, I think it's the sort of activity that fascinates just about all of us -- after all, the bottom of the ocean is more exciting than going to the moon.

Watching his grandfather on television is one of my favorite childhood memories.

I am really looking forward to seeing more of this, thanks for the link Htmb.
20 metres down is not so far ( normal recreational diving depth) but twice the depth that his grandfather lived and filmed at in the Red Sea.
