That is delightful. A country with a normal president. They are rare. I must have missed something.Which country would that be?

According to my son's GF this guy isn't the Finnish president...the current one is Sauli Niinistö!
?fake news?
Looking into it, this is Robert Paulsen, an American voice actor and singer!

However. The Finnish are a pretty groovy lot...
I don't know if any of you ever saw the British satirical show 'Spitting Image' it was very popular in the 80s here when Thatcher was in power. It's recently been announced that a new series has been commissioned...they already have Donald and Melania puppets.

She'll need a lot of upkeep. He'll need a lot of downkeep, though they can swap scalps with the Boris Johnson doll. Cheery, looking for work? You could make great puppets.

this guy isn't the Finnish president.. As a US citizen I already knew that, since Buttlips so recently made the usual ass of himself in front of the real president of Finland during a news conference.

I also checked that out, as it sounded too much like what the Finnish president would have thought, not what he would have said. And while the actual president looked much fitter than Dump, he wasn't nearly as gaunt as the actor.

So. Nobody comment his highness who self declared he was of unmatched wisdom after betraying his Kurdish allies ?

It didn't take long for the Turks to attack northern Syria. Trump just keeps getting worse and worse. He never had a clue about foreign policy, or statesmanship or anything useful to the presidency, but every time it seems he could go no lower, he does.

His foreign policy carnage and evil can't hold a flickering candle to that perpetrated by Bush the Younger, who should have been locked up and the key thrown away. At least yet. But he is a far bigger blowhard and asshole.

Well, little Bush went into full out war far from home, but plenty of tyrants have attacked other countries with no reason since time immemorial, so he wasn't innovating. Trump is one of the rare tyrants who has declared war on his own country.

Maybe he rinks Kurdistan is close to Warsaw. Because then you could polish a Kurd.

Very good, Whatagain. No matter how hard you polish Dump, you just get a shinier dump. In all these years of "who is enemy and who is ally" switching, I thought the Kurds were the most honourable in their dealings. What Trump has done will go down in history as an act of bastardry equal to the Sykes-Picot agreement after WW1. Shame on him and his advisers.

So. Another 7.5 billions of import taxes. To protect Boeing and to annoy the french. But yes US wines are so much better than french ones. I am boycotting Coke and Pepsi. Am literally addicted to the stuff so good for me 🤗 2 liters a day of that soda is waaaay too much.

You get the impression that Trump decides on who and what to tax by throwing darts at a board with various things on it. Taxing French wine but not Spanish or Italian. Italian cheese but not French. Spanish olive oil but not Portuguese or Italian.
Whatagain, Coke and Pepsi are terrible -- just sugar. That's why you get addicted to the stuff.

Lowlife evil shit murderous bastard! Every time he orchestrates a crisis then steps in to save the day, everything is worse than it was before. Throwing forces that have fought for us under the bus with immediate loss of hundreds of lives was the result of his latest stunt. For whom did he pull that shit this time? In what Turkish authorities have described as a "pause" - not a ceasefire - Kurdish forces have five days to lay down their weapons and withdraw from a 32 km "safe zone" Turkey has been trying to capture for more than a decade.
"We got what we wanted", said Turkey's foreign minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu, on Thursday, after negotiations with US Vice President Mike Pence and US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in Ankara. source
