Those blue and white domes are quite something. Want one on my house, that would make the neighbours look up. And the planning wankers would have a fit.

Gosh ~ so pretty! It's very steep, which of course makes for wonderful views up and down, but must have been challenging to climb. Was it very hot while you were there?
The restraint of the clean white buildings along with airy graceful wrought iron, touches of tile, and the clay roofs couldn't be lovelier. Looking forward to más Costa Blanca.

Yes, it is very steep indeed. Luckily it wasn't very warm the day we visited. Altea is very pretty and ... very touristy!

Photos like that are appreciated all the more as we shiver in the north.

I agree -- those blue roof tiles on the church are really nice. It looks like it would be touristy.

The reservoir is clearly feeling the effect of lack of rain -- just like about every other lake in most of Europe.

Ah, the blue of the sea is the same colour as in the postcards of my youth -- which always seemed a bit fake but weren't.
The Explanada de España looks extremely appealing. It must be a tragedy whenever a palm tree dies.

Can't tell you how much I'm enjoying this tour, Amboseli! The Huerto del Cura is delightful & you captured it beautifully. So interested to see all these different places -- I had no idea Alicante was so beautiful. So far, my heart belongs to the Vall de Gallinera section, which reminds me of family trips when I was a child. It just looks and seems so Spanish to me!
