We were to spend 2.5 days in Paris that was shortened to 25 hours. Here is what we did in Paris in thst time, where Marie had no memory of even les Champs. No off beaten path here.... We walked 24 000 steps on sunday acc. To our smartphones.

We parked there. I always take a pic of where we park, to be able to find it afterwards. And the pic shows typicsl Paris buildings... We had dinner under a statue made by Folon, renowned belgian artist. Close to our hotel, this hairdresser made Marie laugh. There are ugly churches everywhere... I liked thiz building in a crescent form. Close to porte Maillot, not all buildings are hausmannian... Southern gate of parc Monceau. Place de Narvik. French semi victory in may 40, fully forgotten. I don't know many buildings that chose to have a terrace... The orgels (?) Of La Madeleine. From la Madeleine towards Concorde. Roman acr de triomphe in les Tuileries. Quizz : where was i ? Inside the pyramid. Just showing inside, not visiting. Mère et fille... The oldest clock in Paris. Quai de ... l'horloge close to la conciergerie. Built in 1371. La vieille dame ... Notre dame. Arc de triomphe, with a big flag, for the 8th of may. Then back to car...

Sorry, I moved this thread from France to Paris and it made me become the initiator against my will.

Sorry, I moved this thread from France to Paris and it made me become the initiator against my will. I am flattered. Believing in égalité fraternité liberté i didn't give a special status to Paris 😇

I’m exhausted just thinking about how you got from one site to another. You walked everywhere? No metro or bus?

Great, fun thread, Whatagain! Why did your trip get cut short? And -- I have to ask -- did you go to Paris only to admire & show off the glass pyramid? Beautiful portrait of mother & daughter & I love the last picture, with the perfectly framed backlit flag.

Due to our family expanding with 3 ukrainian members, we left very late on Saturday and decided to come back Sunday night instead of Monday. A small sacrifice.

It is hard to believe that whatagain will not take his new Ukrainian family on a quick tour in a few weeks (but after Bruxelles of course).
