Certainly not one of my favorite towns. The traffic is hell. Always.

My husband and one of my sons went there at about a 30 year gap. Both thought it was horrible and uninteresting. My husband actually bought a book of photos -- as one did in the old days -- and none of the pictures gave me the slightest interest in going there.

She doesn’t like it either, the drugs and homeless. Leaving for Florida tomorrow.

I lived there long enough to know where the hidden gems were... but since that was 50 years ago...

She doesn’t like it either, the drugs and homeless. Leaving for Florida tomorrow. Hopefully, she’ll enjoy Florida a little more, but tell her the really pretty, less crowded part is about two hours drive to the north of that town where the mouse lives. :-)

Your daughter takes great pictures and even included succulents for her dad. One of my closest friends moved there from Oaxaca. She still is not over the sticker shock.
She got a really good photo from the airplane. I was pleasantly surprised to see how many trees and treed areas there are in that picture. I like Mickey on the water tower & love the arched ceiling painted like Tenango embroidery.

Same here. But last i went was 35 years ago. Chloë went for 2 weeks 2 years ago and loved it. One of her first trips alone overseas, it might help.
