Most people who have visited Mexico City are aware of the rich pre Hispanic city beneath the modern one. Artifacts of that city continue to be uncovered by archeologists so that we can get a glimpse of those times before the conquest.

Jolly interesting...I get the Aztecs and the Incas of Peru mixed up sometimes, they were contemporaries tho.
