It looks like an independent bookstore -- Topping and Company. Nice place to browse obviously.
I went to Bath many years ago, before markets and sidewalk cafés. It's a pleasant city and makes me think of Jane Austen.

He bought Germinal by Zola there and some other books at a second hand shop.

Bath is well worth a visit. I have fond memories, I did my navigation training a few miless away and had a girlfriend who lived there. Her mother would put me up for the weekend and we would go to the theatre on Saturday night.

Good memories Mossie and great photos from your son. It has been some time since I last visited but I have a trip planned for next year.This has certainly made me look forward to it even more
