I was introduced to this site at the end of last year. It is unlikely to actually be legal, but is very simple to use and costs only $0.09 per track or around $1.10 for an album. The speed of download is around the same as Itunes
I have been using it a hell of a lot lately and obviously I do not have the "its probably illegal" issues of honest people.
They also have music by bands who do not allow Itunes downloads such as Metallica, Creedence Clearwater and Ac/Dc.

It is so strange to think that people are still listening to bands like Creedence Clearwater, and not just the older generation. Back when it was all new, the "adults" were all saying constantly that that sort of "crap" would never last, that they had seen other music fads in the past and that rock was just a temporary unpleasant phenomenon until the world got back to real music.

I was surprised recently at a music festival by how many young'uns were excited about Neil Young! They knew all the words to his songs are were really excited by him. I'm talking people in their early 20s.
