"Now is the time to buy. The average price of homes in Cape Coral has dropped from $322,000 to $70,000." There is an expression in French -- Le malheur des uns fait le bonheur des autres. ( The woes of some create happiness for others.) This certainly seems to be true of the new travel/real estate agencies specialized in foreclosure tours. Foreclosure Tours R Us has definitely found a niche market. Each tour shows about four houses. On the article I read, the prime property was a house with swimming pool that sold for $550,000 in 2006, now on the market for $150,000. The only thing that the buyers worry about is how long the house has been unoccupied and if there are enough neighbors left to make the area feel safe. Nobody cares about what happened to the previous owners. It's a dog-eat-dog world.
