She looks at the camera like it is a dog biscuit dispenser!

She is adorable, but all I can say is "humph!" My dog is camera shy -- ducks & runs every time I point the camera at him. I tried the other day to get pics to show his really beautiful eyes -- they look like those of a lion. Here are the photos: "Don't bbbbeat me again!" "Ginger, look at mommy, honey!" " omygodnononononooo!" See?! See what a pretty color his eyes are? *SIGH*

Animals have such different reactions to the camera. I've had a few like yours that hide or never stand still and others love to put on a show. I have always wondered what exactly they think the camera is. I mean it's not like I take pictures of her and then she looks at them with me and thinks about how cute she looks.

That's it! It's not like they're worried about how their hair looks or something.
As for her looking at the pictures with you ~~ ;D. Have you tried showing her one? It's funny about dogs and mirrors, too. I got a dog once who'd lived outside all nine months of her existence with very little interaction with humans (none positive, at any rate). When she first saw the mirror on the armoire in my house, she barked at the doggy she saw there & tried to find it. After that she ignored the mirror entirely, even if held up to one. I've seen this in other dogs, too -- the refusal to look in the mirror.

I haven't tried the mirror with her, I should one of these days. My other female dog is not too bright and didn't really react. The funniest is the little dog in the pictures above. He went around behind the mirror to see where the rest of the dog was.
