This is a daily feature in the NYTimes online. Apologies to those of you for whom it's already tomorrow, but I thought today's line up was interesting. The Treaty of Versailles, yes, but what possessed them to choose Richard Rodgers' birthday as the second headliner? Nothing against Mr. Rodgers, but wasn't what happened that day in 1914 a teensy bit more important?\ And, before June ends, let me remind everyone that Easy Rider was released 40 years ago this month. Makes me feel ancient!
