strange, I guy I know had the same thing happen to him at 1am. After many surgeries, he looks very good. Did you have to endure that?

I just needed one operation, but I wouldn't have guessed it when I saw the bones sticking out of my face in the mirror shortly after the attack.
I can feel the difference when I run my fingers over my nose, but nobody else has ever seen a difference.

Kerouac, I have heard of similar events happening before. There is, perhaps, a very strong connection between some people that cannot be explained logically, and it seems that connection is limited to their loved ones. I think clairvoyants have the same kind of 'gift', but they are not limited to only their loved ones. It's almost like a heightened sense of sensitivity if you like. No wonder the new age name for psychics now is the 'Sensitives'.

Kerouac, chills up the spine. Very touching. A lesson to us all to try to be truthful with loved ones and others.

One of our directors is a feng shui teacher. She has arranged the office seating and everything to do with the interior, which I don't mind, looks quite nice. But she's also a tarot card reader. I've told her if she starts doing business according to what the tarot cards tell her she can 'throw the letter' (resign), as the Chinese say...

K2, that is amazing but I have heard of other people having something similar happen to them. I know that you are correct in what you say about love and the strength and bond that it has . Thank you for telling this to us.

'Strange sounds in the middle of the night'.... funny you should mention that, Rikita. Last night I was woken at 2am by a loud noise in my house. I tried to tell myself that it came from next door but it didn't. I thought someone was breaking in two floors down. I turned on my bedside light, leapt out of bed and then turned on the landing light and stood frozen with fear on the staircase, listening. Nothing. Finally I returned to bed, turned on my mobile in case of having to dial 999 (if the landline was cut)...and went to sleep. At 4.30am I was again woken by what appeared to be two awful cat wailings INSIDE the house. My blood ran cold. Then I thought it mightn't be a cat, it might be a monster! ha ha! About a year ago a strange cat came into my house through the cat flap and had a fight with my ginger tomcat who instantly tried to expel him. This also happened in the dead of night. I can't tell you what a fright I got! Anyway I had to get out of bed again, turned on the lights and went downstairs (help!) to weigh up the situation. I found my cat sleeping at the bottom of my stairs and no sign of a cat-intruder. I called him upstairs and went back to bed for the third time. This moring I made the rounds of the house looking to see what had fallen in the night. There was nothing unusual to see. So now, tonight, I'm apprehensive in case of further disturbances. I think, if I hear anything, that I'll just pull the covers over my head and ignore the carry-on. Ghosts or what?

that reminds me of being woken up at night some months ago by loud noise too - in that case i could quickly figure out the reason though - two birds had come inside, and when i woke up by their sounds, they got scared and flew against hte window (rather than returning through the balcony door, through which they had come in). there was just no way of getting them out, other than opening the balcony door as wide as possible and hoping they find their way out before they hit their skulls too strongly against the window. so did that and went back to bed. they were still there for at least an hour, making loads of noise.
in another case, the noise was caused by a big moth that somehow got stuck to the fallen down sticky leaves of one of my plants and tried to get out of them for hours...
no ghosts... but i still get scared.
