Yes, the difference being the selfishness of the first lot not giving a second thought to the second lot's journey and any delays they may cause. Friday after 2000h is always a popular time to jump in front of the normally driverless DLR trains. It happened quite regularly when I used that network almost daily.

Yes, the difference being the selfishness of the first lot not giving a second thought to the second lot's journey and any delays they may cause. from what i read, in fact they do. at least according to an article i read, a lot of people who chose to kill themselves that way, are people who feel like they are going through life unnoticed and never have an impact on anyone else, so by killing themselves that way, they hope to at least once, in a way, be noticed. not conciously, i suppose... then again, that article could also be completely wrong i suppose, and of course there are also exceptions... still, i guess my delay, even if annoying, is nothing compared to the sadness someone must feel in order to want to end their life.

rikita, I do hope you aren't including people facing the prospect of a horrible, painful death or a greatly diminished life. I ain't no Stephen Hawkins and would have NO desire to go on living in such a state. And this is not out of sadness or certainly not wanting to be noticed.
I guess people who agree with me there and people who don't.
Winter-lovers and winter-haters.

Another one:
Big-endians and little-endians (= where you start with your boiled egg)
People who wash up as they go, and people who let the kitchen sink fill up first.

Oh ~~ #98 reminded me of one:
People who rip into a wrapped gift, and lovely, polite people who take time to admire the wrapping and delicately pick it apart to open the gift.

lagatta - not quite sure what you mean... you mean not including those in the ones that throw themselves in front of a train? i don't know which type of people is most likely to do so, but i do feel sorry for anyone who feels the need to do so. i guess it might have to do a bit with that i am quite scared of death actually, and thus couldn't imagine killing myself.

nikita, I mean elective suicide by people with an extremely painful fatal or gravely-debilitating disease. Like just about everyone, I fear death, but I fear far more becoming a prisoner of my own body.

Those who feel that life, all life, is better than a grim existence, vs. those who would consider seeking a humane/premature ending of one's own life (or the life of an unborn child/speck of human protoplasm, if its existence will be grim).
