She is going to yodel and eat raclette and admire some handsome man's Alpenhorn and drink Ch*mp*gne (they have been making wine in this village for 5 centuries but now can't call it by their proper name) and gorge on chocolates.

Oh thanks everyone...that's kind of you to wish me well. I'm hoping to meet up with HappyTraveller in Teufen at the weekend. *I'm looking forward to a day out at Lucerne *Taking a cable car up to the top of Hohencasten on the Santis range, then walking along the ridge overlooking the Rhine Valley and Austrian Alps on the one side and Appenzellerland on the other side. * Taking a boat over to Mainau island in Lake Constance. I'll take my camera with me on all these trips.  |

For the curious... I can report that Spindrift's last meal at home was baked beans on toast.
I can foresee a new thread (started by K2 or Bixa) on Last Meal Before you go on Holiday.
