Beautiful, tod. Not as pretty but Shopping for furniture for the lake cottage.

The gray weather in Montana has me hungering for this: Alas, not till May. Sigh.

Oh -- just now seeing these.
I love your birdnest + snoitcelfer, Kerouac -- wildlife in the heart of the big city.
How perfect that Tod's perfect bird reflection follows it. That's a beautiful image, Tod.
Get that chest, Kimby -- it's lovely.

Multi-storied snoitcelfer!
I love these pics of the very new reflecting the old & venerable.

Get that chest, Kimby -- it's lovely. We are, along with a dresser and headboard and 2 nightstands. Just sent in the order yesterday. Still furniture shopping. The digital camera has eliminated the need to carry pen and paper - just photograph the item and its label.

reflections were of the building by the canal...I was fascinated by the abstract shapes as the swan disturbed the water...

SOOOOO beautiful! Love the colors and the swirls, and adore the stream behind the bird, the half & half color aspect, & the general composition of the first one.

Really and truly a fantastic photo and one that should be studied at length to take in all the different aspects! Well done Cheery !

Looking forward to this view, instead of the snow and ice that has held the lake prisoner since before Thanksgiving. I hear it will open up sometime in May! (Short swimming season.)

Fantastic composition, plus a great snoitcelfer.
That one would have worked in "Old & New", as well.

Lots of great pics here. Especially love cheery's gull on the boat and bixa's wet leaf. Here's a snoitcelfeR taken from our lanai on Sanibel: BTW, Mr. Kimby is paying money to have the group of three cross-hatched palms taken out and replanted elsewhere, as they "block his view". (I tend to regard them as part of the view, but when he makes up his mind about something, there's no one to break the tie vote!)

Well, at least they will be replanted rather than destroyed. (Or is that a fiction, like "the extra puppies went to a good home?")

We are donating them to the homeowners assn and they will be planted to replace coconut palms near the swimming pool that suffered during the recent cold winters. There is only a 50 - 70% chance they will survive in their new homes, but that is improved by the paid groundskeeper who promises to water them faithfully.
