I do not believe in coincidence. Synchronicity:" Coincidence of events that seem to be meaningfully related, conceived in the theory of Carl Jung as an explanatory principle on the same order as causality." Lately,in the past three months or so, when I go to look at the time ( I rarely wear a watch) it is the same three numbers,e.g. just now 5:55 a.m. I will venture to say almost eight times out of ten this occurs. Generally,I will make note of it in my head but,it is happening so often that it is giving me pause to think there is more to it due to the increased frequency over a long period of time. Do these kinds of things happen to you on a regular basis? I think sometimes they happen but many people do not take notice of them.

How does one distinguish sychronicity from OCD?

One has nothing to do with the other.

Casimira; how many times have you looked at the time but there was nothing remarkable about it and you paid it no mind?
O.k.: here's one. Yesterday, I went on the combi van to Pátzcuaro to the mercado. I was tired, and hauling two, pretty heavy market shopping bags. After the mercado, I stopped at a cafe for a café Americano to revive me somewhat. When I finished, I crossed the street and walked to the combi stop on the corner. I was dreading a long wait for the combi that goes out to our relatively remote community. As I settled back against the wall, I looked up, and there was "my" combi.
That's the second or third time this has happened. What's odd about it is that there are at least 20 combis going out in the general direction of our pueblo, but turning west some two miles short of my destination; to every one going out my way.
On the other hand, the usual wait is 20 minutes on the average, often more.
And this proves???

Proves nothing that I'm aware of. Simply speaking to a recent level of awareness that I'm more in tune with . I used the time thing as just one example of "it". Some would call coincidence, serendipity, whatever you little heart desires.
