If you look at the past of most presidents, most of them (if not all) were born leaders. By that I mean, as kids they had initiative and leadership qualities, as teenagers they were head of their class or class presidents, leaders in sports, and academically driven. In one way or another they stood out.
Do you think that, even in everyday life, some people are simply made to lead? While others are made to follow? And do you think it's true that these types of personalities find it hard to be any other way? That infact, it's something that is so ingrained in us, that we are, simply put, born to be that way?
What do you think?

I think there are some people with all-consuming ambition who succeed, but it clearly becomes evident that they are not born leaders.
I think I have more admiration for people who know how to consult other people and make good use of the information and opinions they receive. A lot of "born leaders" seem to go deaf and blind after a certain point.

In my everyday life I am not a follower or a leader but I feel that if a situation arose, in absolute extremis, I would be able to lead. To be a leader one has to possess a strong mind at the very least.

I can just imagine you leading, if the necessity ever arose, spindrift.

Not sure about that, spindrift, I might just opt to look out for number one first and foremost!

I am a born leader. Why does nobody else see this?

Perhaps you need to act more pushy, baz?
