Real lapis? Such a beautiful blue, and the adult's sleeve in the photo is the exact same shade! My eye also inevitably went to the fig in fruit as well.

(I asked) Lapis is a 'non-precious' stone and not that expensive, they may have been given a good deal given the illustrious setting of where it was to be placed...la Mosquee de Paris. Sadly, it isn't there any more. another photo,

The lapis was a beautiful concept. That's a gorgeous true green in those leaves. Okay ~~ I wasn't trying to be all artsy in the pictures below, merely attempting to photograph the takeoff from Mexico City in a heavily vibrating airplane. (they came out pretty, though, didn't they? )

They did indeed. I like that sort of arty farty thing though. Seattle Christmas carousel.

Great picture, Imec. You took one homely little element and made a profound and elegant picture with it.

Those are all nice, Bixa, but you'll be getting very few colorful flower photos out of Europe for a few weeks still.

The blue is beautiful! Do you have lapis plants in Mexico? I also love 'the thrill of the frill', its fresh and glorious green.
