This is the first time I've seen this bumper sticker. (Je suis = "I am" -- Tu suis = "you are following")

I fail to see how phoning a number and complaining about someone cutting into the ferry lineup makes you a "hero".

Oddly enough, less than one minute before I clicked on this thread, the radio was talking about a new outbreak of chikungunya in Kourou.

Oh, I've known how to pronounce it for about 5 years, because one of the first major outbreaks was in Réunion and affected up to 20% of the population back then.
In French at least, it is pronounced chik-koon-goon-yah.

Who dreams up these names for boutiques??? Actually it brought back memories of our daughter, especially as it is Remembrance Day. When she was little she had a knitted object which went absolutely everywhere with her and was called something like that. My mother then bought her a glove puppet monkey and she transferred her affections to that. When we went to see her at the undertakers I remembered tucking the monkey in beside her as I closed her eyes.

A very poignant memory, Mossie. How extremely difficult for you and your family.
That reminds me, I still have my sister's favorite stuffed doll. It's sitting on a shelf in my home office.
As for the name on the sign, it seems pretty silly to me. I assume it's for a shop catering to trendy young women.
