There's a long thread on another board named "Dirty Airfair Secrets" that I keep clicking into to find out how to outsmart the airlines and snag those cheap tickets. Or better yet, cash in some of my frequent-flyer miles.
If you have any tips for dealing with airlines, post them here.
For example, it appears the best time to book tickets may be on Tuesdays just after midnight (i.e. late Monday night), as many airlines post new lower fares at that time.

Air France has a sale on domestic and European tickets starting at midnight Tuesday (meaning on Wednesday). They sell lots of tickets for the coming week for less than 100€.

It's quite possible that I have misunderstood or mis-stated the time of the sales. It seems the airlines generally follow suit with fare reductions or new fees, so I would be surprised if it were different for Air France than others.
But is midnight not 12 AM and noon 12 PM? So midnight Tuesday would follow Monday night, wouldn't it?

Well in France the time is called 0:00 Wednesday -- the moment that the day begins.
