Yeah, I read that article the other day. It reminded me of two beers from childhood that I had forgotten (not that I was drinking them, but the bottles were in the refrigerator). While I always remembered Jax and Dixie, I had totally forgotten Falstaff and Regal.
I distinctly remember these commercials from my youth, but have never been able to find anyone else who claims to have seen them. This had to be before this duo's real fame.
The one that really sticks in my mind is the wife walking into the room with a shaved head saying "notice anything different?", and the husband guessing stuff like new dress, lost weight, etc. How come this kind of inconsequential crap from over 35 years ago is stuck in my brain?
