Overrated.
Crappy pretentious lyrics mostly, songs that drag on for aaages even if they last only 3 minutes, and annoyingly balanced percussion. Only did about 2 good songs. Morrison was a twat.

A song like The End is fantastic, played in the dark at 2 am, perhaps with a little chemical enhancement.

Yes,the End,and especially Coppola's use of it in Apocolypse Now,I can't think of any other song that would have worked.
