They're a group of folkloric dancers, Htmb. I was hurrying home yesterday evening & came upon a crowded scene of costumed people, musicians, and giant papier mache figures in a park on my route. It was getting dark & drizzling, plus I guess I've been here too long since I was more annoyed that they were in my way rather than thinking "photo-op!" However, when I got to the end & saw that gaggle of girls in their muted clothing, I was charmed. I got them laughing by asking why they had such ugly bracelets & caught their lovely faces that way.
pee ess ~~ never said how much I like your portrait of the guy next t the Les Miz poster. Brilliant composition.

Progress in their relations was being made a bit later.

Your #302, Rikita, and your #305, Kerouac, are super representations of this thread's theme.

I was taking a photograph of something else and this clown man jumped in front of my camera and posed.

Thanks, Mez. I think those are those "Chinese finger traps" -- you put your finger in the open end & when you try to pull it out, the weave tightens. Perhaps there's a more PC name for them in your country!

Those poor guys. They were on the pedestrian street, sort of guarding a display of sculptures. I don't think the local cops get any kind of uniforms for hot weather, so they must have been roasting. Add to that the swat gear -- whew! Someone needs to tell the local whomevers that, far from making tourists feel more secure, dressing your police as though big trouble is imminent has the opposite effect.
You're seeing the guy in the middle at the moment he realizes I'm taking their picture. I winked at him & got a nice smile in return.
