Is he a long lost cousin-brother?

Questa, I don't know who he is. I was on a boat out to some islands & he was a fellow passenger who unconsciously arranged himself in that graceful way for me to sneak a snap.

Thanks! They are galanes. They will escort and dance with the 15th birthday girl you saw in my recent agave pictures.

I don't think I've ever looked in at these photos before....well, not for ages so was pleasantly surprised by such star snaps! Bixa - your man in a hat is wonderful. As are the young men ( who look as if they have lost a pound or two since the last fitting of their outfits) They have scrubbed up well and with every hair in place looked spivvy!

What a great series of photos! It's hard for me to pick a favorite, but I do love the dapper young escorts. Bravo!

Thank you!
Your portrait photograph above is a triumph of capture, composition, and color -- one for the books!

Thank you! Yes, you spelled it right except you don't have the tilde on your keyboard ~ quinceañera

I'd love to know who this is. ( being interviewed at the viewpoint to the Eiffel Tower at Trocadero)

Not only two wonderful candid portraits, but a brilliant juxtaposition in the thread.

I have not visited this thread in ages I am ashamed to say. And, then to come on here and see all these really fantastic pictures. Like NYCgirl posted, it's difficult to pick a favorite. But, I too, love "all the young dudes" Bixa.

Kerouac, I meant to say how much I liked your last two photos when you first posted. Were the young men with the cell phone photographed from the bus?

Were the young men with the cell phone photographed from the bus? No, but I zoomed in on them from a certain distance when I saw them sitting on the steps of St. Etienne du Mont next to the Panthéon.

That strong side lighting is rather unkind to a well lived in face
