That's the smile of a continental Chinese woman being able to visit Hong Kong at last.

I note that it is difficult to get a random portrait anymore that doesn't have someone diddling their smart phone in it!

Good shot, Bixa. (That guy's sleeve tattoo must have been excruciating.)
I like your portraits, too, Mossie.

Great portraits, everyone!
Bixa, yours looks like an old movie still. Who are the people in it? They have so much character in their faces.

Thanks, NYCGirl. Those are three of the men who were saving their places for the danzón. I put a pic of that in the "unexpected" thread. The men also appear again in the b&w thread.

Interesting angle! It looks like a wedding kiss except that nobody else is visible.

It actually was a wedding kiss. I saw the couple earlier as they came out of the courthouse. The wedding photographer was off to the left of the boat (taking a photo of Potomac with no boat, I suppose) and I cropped her out of my shot.

Lovely photo, Htmb. It looks to be the logical follow-up to the 1st pic in #162.

This was Goutte d'Or fashion for the people of the neighborhood.
Damn 6lucky! I searched and wracked my brain, found it and then only to discover you are faster than Speedy Gonzales from Mexico! Great shot kerouac!

This couple appears in the slideshow of my Quai Saint Bernard thread, but I feel that I could write an entire movie scenario about this Asian woman, just from the look on her face.
