Bixa, I love how you captured the facial expressions on this multi-aged group.

I wonder what they're all thinking ;D

Fabulous
I am guessing that the little boy in the yellow t shirt is a relative of the older lady - not just because of the ease of familiarity between them but also because their facial expressions look so similiar, yet separated by gender and multiple years

She is wonderful, but she kind of reminds me of the Tintin album.

Thanks for the kind comments! This family was sitting under the arches of the municipal building at a pueblo festival. There was to be folk dancing later, & I guess they wanted good seats, since there was nothing whatsoever happening when those pictures were taken.

I will forever be amazed at what certain people think will enhance their appearance. ;D

Yeah. That woman definitely needs a less busy blouse.

Ha, good one, Bixa. I'm amazed that someone who is clearly trying to create a tough-guy persona would see fit to wear a U2 shirt.

Actually, I don't know about the tough-guy bit. He's a street musician along with another guy and their music is excellent and sensitive.

I don't think tough guys get their lips pierced because that could be very bad news in a fight.

This gentleman seemed very dignified in spite of his disfigurement.

I love all of these photos but what htmb said about #199 ;D . I was trying to recall who he reminded me of and then had a eureka moment - Rob Brydon

All these last photos made me laugh. Nycgirl, do tourists often pose that way? And bixa, none of your subjects appear to be happy about having their photos taken, especially that first lady.

My sentiments, too. What do you suppose he was thinking? An Iraqi communist demonstrating for a secular democratic country which will never happen probably has thoughts that we cannot imagine.
