Nycgirl, do tourists often pose that way? Well, as you can see, certain parts of the bull have been rubbed to a shine. More about it toward the end of my thread here.

These girls on the metro caught my eye. And the one standing is giving me the evil eye.

She is indeed. Good portrait, though, and very pretty girls.

Maybe just a pouty, moody look rather than aggression ? Either way a great photo Mossie

Cheery, I just had to come back and look at your photo. There is a real art to styling this gentleman's hair, both on his head and his face.

Is the feline a photo or WTF? We grow our cats big and fierce in North Central Florida, Kerouac This little dancer seemed delighted with the prospect of a picture and made sure I saw her smiling for the camera.

Is the feline a photo or WTF? All kidding aside, Kerouac, that creature is stuffed and I assume it is a bobcat, which are native to Florida. I would also imagine they use it to attract visitors to their booth which contained information about Paynes Prairie, an area to the south of Gainesville I plan to write about later this fall. I was sitting a long way from the booth and just focusing on the bobcat with my lens, but when I saw the look on th Forest Ranger woman's face I decided not to crop her out of the shot. I'm not sure if she was looking at me or not, but she does not look very pleased and her face actually mimics the expression of the cat a bit.

Cheery, I just had to come back and look at your photo. There is a real art to styling this gentleman's hair, both on his head and his face. That's what I thought too htmb. He was standing outside the Asda Supermarket, I think he was a car park attendant...knowing this country's current unemployment statistics he's probably got a degree in astrophysics.....he was very sweet actually. I don't usually ask total strangers if I can take their photograph ! but he was so beautifully groomed and smelled like a perfume factory so I just had to stop. He seemed quite pleased to pose.... ;D

Going back to the bobcat photo. I didn't see the cat at first, I just wondered where the legs were going. Who said "typical MCP" ;D ;D
