You've probably all see the classic film or photo of a drop of water falling and then splashing in more water - but what if the water hits a solid surface and bounces? Or rolls? If you're really bored watch this, but skip to 23secs first to where the 'action' is -

Huh! It's compelling stuff. The action in the horseshoe shaped thing starting at 1:19 looks like good betting material. The grand finale, at 2:30, needs a stirring, swelling sound track. I've never seen the classic film to which you refer. Got any more of this kind of stuff?

Marks, thanks, that was absolutely fascinating and yes, a soundtrack would set it off perfectly.

Water would have so much more fun if we would build a nanotube amusement park for it.

The images of water drops are all over the place but it's one of those things you never notice much until it's mentioned. Images like - There are countless videos, the first is just a drop of red water so you can see it properly and what happens. The second is a first drop and then a second one hits the first as it rebounds -

There was a TV series called Time Warp. Did you ever see it? It took ordinary every day things and filmed them in real slow motion. How about a punch to the face? -

Water would have so much more fun if we would build a nanotube amusement park for it. You mean you don't have one in Paris? Jeez, how backward can you get.
