At least it isn't reverse.
Because I've been coughing so much I've put my back out so I'm going round the office like some ancient creeping Jesus..........

You probably need to be using the choke.
Incidentally, I deeply admire the ecumenical nature of that post! ;D

Didn't something bad happen to Jesus around age 33? But maybe you are referring to Bixa's decrepit gardener Jesús...?

Please take some zinc. Everyday.

I'm not often ill hence why I'm wittering on.
I do eat a reasonable amount of zinc rich food but it might be an idea to supplement it. Eldest grandson had a severe bout of glandular fever a year ago and is very vulnerable to any bug going. Might help his immune system. Thanks tod.

I don't know about it being an immune booster ( I take Procydin for that) but zinc is a great healing tool. I read somewhere that my darling Princess Diana took copious amounts which kept her glowing. She always looked wonderful didn't she When I met her brother at Althrop, he looked like he could do with some! Did your grandson get glandular fever from milk by any chance?

No idea where he got it from tod. I know he spent 4 days in hospital on a drip and his blood count still isn't right.

My beloved had his second shoulder operation yesterday, had a bit of bleeding and they kept him in overnight as a precaution...poor baby is still in a lot of pain but at least he's had his op now and we can concentrate on getting him better. All will be well in the end I'm sure.....

My boss finally told me today that he is getting a bit better. Oh god, I hope he really does come back for at least a month before his termination on March 31st, because I am being more and more abused since I started replacing him on December 10th.

I wish your man all the best for a speedy recovery Cheery! I think it's going to be some time before he really starts to feel the benefits of the op - like 6months? A year?

Two friends of ours have both recently had shoulder surgery and the one started using/doing things he was not supposed to do earlier than the physiotherapist told him too and, uh oh, not doing so well. I wish people would listen to the therapist, they do know what they are doing. Cheery, as this is your husbands second surgery I am sure he understands the importance of this. I wish him a healthy recovery!
Cheers! Mich

My boss said he is getting better. Yippee, even though he is leaving the company on March 31st, a major insult. (The top manager decided to keep me prisoner instead for at least another 3 months beyond that, because he prefers to deal with me rather than my boss, even though I am more intransigent and fight him more. )

That means more anti-biotics by the look of things Mick. My husband is a chronic sinus sufferer and has 'rinsed' his nasal passages in a solution from the chemist called SALEX. Which I guess means salt water rinse. The gagging and coughing, spluttering and blowing.......oh dear! In the end only the anti-biotics finally fixed a very blocked drain ;D (Or two very blocked drains.....)
You have my sympathies mate!
