I am doing some laundry, including washing the dog's bedding. Ginger's bed is right behind my computer chair. It's a folded in half exercise mat with a sheet and a cotton rug covering it. He also has an airline pillow covered with a canvas case. Everything got tossed in the washing machine, except for the mat & little pillow, which I set out on the porch. As I sat here and posted, and moved back & forth around the house, I felt eyes on me. I looked out on the porch and he's on his naked mat obviously sulking and giving me the most baleful look. The more I laughed, the more his eyes turned into resentful slits. I tried to get a photo, but he huffed off. Couldn't help but be reminded of this classic cartoon:

After getting The Look, I brought his mat in & covered it & his pillow with a rag rug until the other stuff dries. As I did so, I thought fondly of how much I appreciate his not being one of those dogs who pulls & picks at stuff until it's torn apart. A few minutes ago I caught the little bastard shredding his pillow.

He needs to work out his trauma. He is using his pillow to represent your arm.

My face or heart, more likely.
