Lovely picture, pariswat. With famous people who die young, I always accord myself the consolation that at least I will never have to see them old. But of course with people from your own family or close relations, that doesn't work at all. You have the right attitude in thinking of Robin being "somewhere else" rather than "gone." Nobody who is in your heart is ever gone.

'Nobody who is in your heart is ever gone.'
So true. And now he is a little bit with you all...

Wonderfully expressed by you both. That's a really sweet way to think of it.

What a gorgeous boy. I am so sorry Pariswat. Not sure I could live without my grandsons so heaven knows what you went through.

Awwww ~ she did it!
Htmb, that is such a wonderful composition, with the strong blocks of shapes. And the subject with her look of concentration is precious.

No flour sacks any more then? And with a hole in the corner that you poke your foot through and get disqualified?
Do they still do egg and spoon races as well?

That boy looks so sad that the rabbits are stuck in a cage.

Sweet little sleeper!
Htmb, your rabbit boy picture has that elusive quality of great photos in that the viewer is captured and affected completely, albeit ambivalently.

I got the impression "rabbit boy" was with the man selling the rabbits. Perhaps they were the boy's pets.

Quite the contrast in expressions between your two photos, Amboseli! Love the boys smiling for the camera.

Their expressions! Wonderful pictures, Kerouac. That last little boy with the red glasses may be Muggle-born, but he's obviously Magic and doesn't think much of the silly Muggle tricks.

If you made a black and white etching of the same scene, it would probably look like some sort of torture.
