You perfectly captured the daintiness of the fuchsias, Kerouac.
Lugg, that photo is so delicate and lovely.

We always think of moss as clinging to a piece of rock but not putting up lamp posts.

What wonderful texture, bixa, and the plant looks like it also has thorns.

Wonderful closeup, Kerouac, & a lovely surprise to find that (fairy?) moss puts out little flowers. Thank you all so much for the nice comments on that little -- it is little! -- yellow flower. It's a prolific weed around here. The flowers aren't much bigger than a dime, or somewhere between shirt & coat button size, if that helps, & the leaves are indeed thorny. Here's a pic taken from further away. You can see by the wisps of grass in the upper left how small the plant is ~~ And up from the ground to sky level ~~

Ohh ~~ the little white angels emerging into Spring. Beautiful!
Thanks, ladies. Those pics were from November. I now see, looking at the banana flower, that I should have trotted it out for Valentine's day.

Beautiful dogwood blossoms, Kerouac. We have a few dogwood trees left in this area, but used to be absolutely covered before almost all were totally destroyed by disease.

You have no idea how long it's been since I've seen a dogwood. That is a very beautiful picture.

Outstanding K2 , Mossie and Bixa. I can almost feel the texture of your flower bixa as I look at it. I spotted this last week in a quite unexpected place .. I think I am correct in thinking it is Spanish Moss ?

Yes, that's Spanish moss. You'll have to tell us where you found it, lugg.

These daffodils are about 3 weeks late, fighting their way through the jungle that is my front garden And the cowslips are self setters from a batch we bought a few years ago, none of which have survived. (My gardening skills are zilch ;D ;D)
