It’s a thing I dream of quite often.
My father had a car stolen and I’ve had one as well.
Very pleased somebody helped you though.

I have the same problems finding my car in a supermarket car park as I do finding my trolley in a supermarket.

My grandmother was always afraid that if we walked away from our shopping cart for a moment somebody else might take it. I had trouble explaining to her that it was not likely as long as it was full of things that had not been paid for.

My grandmother was always afraid that if we walked away from our shopping cart for a moment somebody else might take it. I had trouble explaining to her that it was not likely as long as it was full of things that had not been paid for. I did it at least once or twice. On an occasion, we were two couples shopping. At the middle of it, we took someone else's cart, and didn't notice at the cashier because we thought the others had chosen whatever deemed weird. At the end it was fun, but we had to go back to exchange a few groceries that nobody wanted. And but 2 more trouts, the other guts who took our half cart were only 2.

Back in early 70s all us young Mums wore blue jeans. In the supermarket the toddlers would wander a few metres from Mum then, startled by something, rush back and grabbing the first denim-clad leg it came to, assume that was Mum and wrapped arms and legs around her. The looks on the toddler's and innocent bystander's faces as they realised the situation was priceless.

Probably because of covid, it just doesn't seem like Christmas again, even though there are fewer restrictions than last year.

If you ever want to be reminded of your age, just take a new passport photo.

I grew a partial beard for the last one, just for shock value. Then I shaved of course just to make it more of a challenge for border authorities.

Well, this was for my Italian passport, so I want to make sure I’m recognizable.

Thanks for letting me see a copy of your new Italian passport photo, Htmb. I don't think it makes you look the least bit old. But to be perfectly honest, I think putting that thing on your head was an ott attempt to look Italian.

Too bad you have a copy of the first photo, Bixa. They made me remove the veil because of the "show your earlobes" rule.

I recall photos for US green cards also had the 'earlobe' requirement.

I am sitting on the sofa balancing my belly on my knees...just had several glasses of wine with a superb (though I say so myself) dinner and about to watch Don't Look Up on Netflix. Jeff is out with the dog and Russell is snoring gently on the other sofa.... opened my gifts and washed up. Perfect. Whatever you're doing...whether you're with family, friends or on your own..have a good day. May 2022 bring you health, wealth and happiness...love from Liz (me) xxx ...hic...

One of my formers bosses retweets posts of Zemmour on LinkedIn.
On a post he liked, somebody wrote that at least Europe had the chance to revert to our real values.
I answered 'travail famille patrie ?and ein Volk ein Reich ein Fuerher ?'.
I love making friends...
I know i should shut up but racism, sexism, fascism, antisémitism and homophobia are just too much to let pass...

We will Questa! Optimism is key and don't give up so easily. I wish I could tell you about all the hanky-panky that's been going on here but there ain't much! None of my guests have crossed the mark over "Well behaved" yet.....There is one that is arriving with a bad revue. Loud music disturbing other neighbors - pots of food left in the kitchen and glasses all over the place......Should I spank her now in advance? Shit, I wish I could. My problem is I have to take into account that it will be New Years Eve. Revelry and debauchery with loads of alcohol is supposedly in order. OK, that's fine but clean up your own bloody mess!

I have always been amazed at kitchen variations in friends. Some are maniacs about doing the dishes and are surprised that I can wash my dishes and leave them to dry on a rack instead of wiping them and putting them away immediately. I have other friends who don't mind filling their sink with dirty dishes until it overflows. (You can't put me in a kitchen like that because I will start doing the dishes immediately.) There must have been psychological studies about this, but I have not seen them.
I read just yesterday that a lot of the new generation (Z?) has no idea how to wash dishes manually. Obviously this only concerns the so-called developed countries. When I bought my new kitchen, the salesperson had automatically added a dishwasher until I made him cancel it.
