I've never heard of a funnel cake, but it looks like a very sweet kind of fried pastry that is common during Muslim festivals.
I'd actually much prefer a savoury pop tart to a sweet one, but as I no longer have a pop-up toaster, I'll just make empanadas in my little countertop convection oven.

I've never tried that kind, but Mackie's Crisps are wonderful! Of course, this is the type I choose: the best wine pairing. www.mackiescrisps.co.uk/our-crisps/mature-cheddar/No, I don't eat those often! The "haggis" type are vegetarian - I believe they all are, so it is probably just the haggis spices. We bought a Scottish friend who is vegetarian "vegetarian haggis" in a tin, and he actually liked it.

It is hard to make it all the way to end of this gallery, since it just gets more and more disgusting as it goes: Foods that shouldn't exist

No way could I make it to the end.
Our wonder diet faddists have just said that fat is now good, and cholesterol is not a serious problem wonders will never cease.

Ugh, but it must be admitted that in France there is a current fad for making 'fries' out of all sort of unacceptable items. While I salute the fact that experimentation is limitless, I must condemn the number of items that are decreed to be 'edible' after a lot of the experiments.

What are they; things like turnip?
Not fried smelt, I presume. Those are always nice, unless they are so poorly fried as to be greasy.

Yes, all of those are accepted by the top chefs of France. Polenta fries are particularly popular.

This will make you think it's time for humans to be wiped out of existence: The pastry is a 2-inch-thick doughnut stuffed with strawberry jam and strawberry Pop Tart. It's topped with diced Pop Tart, sprinkles and drizzled jam. Each weighs about one pound. ... [Donut Bar] has also featured doughnuts stuffed with Oreos and one inspired by French toast.source
