Yes it went right past us but out to sea a couple of hundred Km's out so we didn't get rain or wind at all. Nice sunny day it was actually! I have however been keeping an eye on it, it was category 5 at one stage and that is the worst sort. Now it seems to be less intense but we still have no idea if it's going to hit the coast around Harvey Bay/Frazer island or not. spindrift, the attacks seem to be on the rise. Baz... I think you might still have a temperature. You're almost as bad as the Frenchmen

I saw on the ABC site this morning that apparently it is likely to stay completely out at see and never make landfall. I would imagine that it will cause some heavy surf no matter what.
