OK, an American film, set in one country, with action/adventure and comedy, made in the 1980's with an ensemble cast of male and female actors many of whom are still working but no major stars....it made money but was not a blockbuster...
12. Was it set in America?

Hmmm... that would have sent my down the Monty Python road except that those are not American films... still thinking before I ask another question...

I know you didn't ask a question, kerouac, but I would say that there is a wee bit of Monty Python influence here and there.

Post by cristina on Apr 25, 2010 21:46:14 GMT
16. The medieval period was about 1,000 years long as I recall, so its possible that this story took place during those times. Give or take a century.

Since everyone seems to be taking a break to reflect on which question will unlock the secret of this movie title , I thought I would take the opportunity to provide a clue. This movie is not in the least bit obscure. And although it didn't win any major awards, it appears on a number of "top 100" or "top 50" lists of cinema - in various categories (as in "best of"- not "worst").
