Coming back to stanley. H Quai Branly, Paris, where a big ugly museum is located. Why Stanley? My entry was perfectly legit. Are you making up your own rules again?

Are you making up your own rules again? 2 replies before was Afghanistan already. Yes i read the rules. Do you and do you have a brain that registers what is written ? The sequence is Afghanistan Stanley Afghanistan. By your rules, i should have written Stanley...

Hey chaps you are confusing me! Is it allowed to use the same name that's has already been used? Reply 12175 by Whatagain recorded Afghanistan. Then my bloop using Ghana which Kerouac had already used so I corrected it to Stanley. Then Mick posted Afghanistan again and it was recognised as a repeat. It shouldn't be fair to repeat a place don't you think Bixa? A bit of a cop-out if intentionally .

It’s impossible to play this game without repeating at some stage. I just used Afghanistan again because I wanted to make a point. As I said it’s perfectly legit. So was Ghana.

I accept defeat at your hands Mick but it did puzzle me. Yes, I'm sure way back people have used the same name before and of course it is forgotten. but we might go around in circles if we used too many repeats so soon after one another.

Agree 100% but I’d just read an appalling report about Afghanistan where a family had to sell their 8 year old daughter in order to buy food and I really wondered what the world is coming to.

Repetition is inevitable and if you put some of these names into the search box, you will discover that they have been used more than ten times. Perhaps we should have a new rule along the lines of "no repetition for ten turns."

It shouldn't be fair to repeat a place don't you think Bixa? Tod ~ I didn't make the rules in this game, nor did I look back far enough to see that it had just been played. What confused me was Whatagain saying "back to Stanley" when I could see that the last entry had been Afghanistan. It's just a game!
