Memorial Day Beach Fun

Yesterday was a Holiday here in the US "Memorial Day" and since we are now in Hermosa Beach for my dads last week I thought about this board while watching the bustle of fun and celebration from the balcony of our rental apartment.

So here are the impressions from a Holiday at the Beach:













Technically a brilliant idea - execution "fail"





They finally made it to the water after a few failed attempts and wrestling with their loads lol

Finally a little sun in my day! I am not a beachgoer myself except in the dead of winter, but I do like to watch people on beaches. I would have spied on everything just like you on that balcony.

Children can be such a pain at the beach, especially when they demand to bring all of their essential "equipment" with them.

Great pictures of people doing something I go out of my way to avoid. Gosh, you really did get some super photos. The one of the girl with her pink hat is worth the price of admission, but there are so many good ones. I particularly love the planes in formation & the spreading of the beach sheet.

Awww, it's your dad's last week.     But how cool that y'all did something so quintessentially American for the last outing.

Thank you all !!! Just got back and my dad is home safely ! I actually don't care to be on the beach per say "in the sand" but love watching it from a comfortable shady spot - preferably with a glass of bubbly!! ha ha ha

I also have to say being on this board I was inspired to capture the spirit of this beach crowd and the holiday instead of taking the typical sand/water/surfer photos and I thank ya'll for that.

It's going to be a crazy few weeks so if I am a little MIA don't worry.... just work work work
