Such things are briefly amusing, but it is good to not keep them for more than two weeks.

How bizarre and whimsical! But you're right, it shouldn't stay too long.
This is such an amazing park.

I guess I'll put this here since most odd things seem to happen at La Villette. If you actually watch the video, notice the clothing that the spectators are wearing to get an idea of the temperature.

I went to the park yesterday and found that some old friends from Lille are in temporary residence. It was nice to see them again.

Good to see a bit of life in this strange park. I have walked through a couple of times and have been most underwhelmed.

I am just tickled to see these alebrijes again. Naturally I had to take a side trip using your link in #35 to see them on their first go-round. You are right that they look brighter, but could it be because of the glorious weather your city is enjoying? You did a fabulous job of capturing the fantasy creatures in Lille, with the drawbacks of gray skies and darkness, but this bright sunshine and of course the giant mirrored sphere perk everything up.
Can't believe that Lille report was just over a year ago. This year has been so strange that it has stretched time.

Sweet find! My mother sparingly collected Oaxacan alebrijes with my total approval.

It was just barely warm enough to have a picnic on the grass, so there was absolutely no risk of spreading viruses.

Stunning photos - love the riot of colour Naturally I had to take a side trip using your link in #35 to see them on their first go-round. You are right that they look brighter, but could it be because of the glorious weather your city is enjoying? Yes me too and tomorrow I will go back to that thread for a proper read.

I should mention that that is the last remaining Mexican statue -- the others are all gone. I believe that this one has been left permanently.

Yes - such different times, and not just because of the weather ; very poignant

I do love the remaining statue and have decided it looks like stalwart & reasonable hope for a better future soon.
