I thought there was a whole thread dedicated to insightful, highly scientific internet quizzes. No? Anyway, this one is important, as it will reveal which mid-century modern chair best expresses the inner you. This is me: You are the …Eero Aarnio Ball chair: You’re a bit out there, but in an intelligent way. You love vintage style and anything that turns heads. You’re great at multitasking, and you tend to function better when things are just on the verge of chaos. But you all knew that already, right? Anyway, here is my chair ~~ Go find yours ~~ www.houzz.com/ideabooks/27687789?utm_source=Houzz&utm_campaign=u524&utm_medium=email&utm_content=gallery0

A beautiful classic. Care to expound on the personality aspects of that?

Just the usual:
You’re a hard worker, most likely in a creative field that requires lots of thought. You’re stylish but not flashy. You fit in almost anywhere, and friends love you because you always go with the flow and rarely complain.

Eero Saarinen Tulip chair: You are productive and creative. During moments of crisis, you always provide the voice of clarity. Your desk is immaculate, and you’ve got a spreadsheet for organizing all aspects of your life. (Lose the spreadsheet...I just write on a wall calendar, and the desk is immaculate 1 day in 7... otherwise not far off)

Hans Wegner Elbow Chair: You are generally even keeled, even when you’re running on just a few hours of sleep. You are tidy, organized and always on time. You’re easygoing, because you never overbook yourself. You like things to go your way — simply — but rarely complain when they don’t.

Interesting that so far no one has been outraged by the test results. We all got such attractive chairs, too, although the one I got is my least favorite. We also sound like such pleasant, admirable people.

Charles and Ray Eames lounge chair: You’re classic, sophisticated and a little laid-back, but that doesn’t mean you don’t get things done. You’re a hard worker, most likely in a creative field that requires lots of thought. You’re stylish but not flashy. You fit in almost anywhere, and friends love you because you always go with the flow and rarely complain.
I guess that's why we get along here.

Frankly, I didn't much care for my chair, but I didn't look at the other possibilities either.

I missed this thread earlier. My chair is totally off the mark:
Florence Knoll Lounge Chair: You work in a fun environment — or wish you did — and love bright colors. You prefer a modern style that just verges on being too playful. You like to get things done and stay busy, but life doesn’t stress you out too much. You tend to just go with the flow. You laugh a lot and make friends quickly.

I thought I had done that quiz before but don't see my post anywhere. I just redid it: Hans Elbow Wagner chair. (see mossie above)
I don't remember how I answered last time or what my chair was.

I also got the Florence Knoll lounge chair. I don't really like lounge chairs in any event; I'm happier working at a desk or table (I have a fairly standard computer chair with a high back in a soft green; in the kitchen I have old wooden chairs).
I have no upholstered chairs except for the computer chair; the others in the office do have cushions though. Though remember, I do have a cat. He'd LOVE the Florence Knoll lounge chair. It would be in shreds.
