Myanmar earthquake

A 6.8 magnitude earthquake has caused the death of at least one person and damaged many pagodas in Bagan.
Buildings in Bangkok and in Chiang Mai were shaken by the quake.

I'm very sad to hear that and unfortunately I suspect there will be more casualties. We don't really get much news from Myanmar/Burma, even in relation to other Southeast Asian countries.

Due to the earthquake in Italy, I have seen absolutely nothing about the earthquake in Burma. Even when I go to the Google News France site, there is nothing about Myanmar unless I use the search function. And then, yes, lots of terrible news emerges. However, the articles do mention "only" 3 deaths but there are photographs of significant damage to some pagodas.
