If only it were so simple.
This site says that the slogan for France is "Rendezvous en France."
However, when I look at the official French tourism website, I find the equally lame "Be Inspired. Be in France." -- that's the version for the UK. The US website does not have a slogan, but promotes the awful video that I already posted elsewhere. The UK site also has the slogan "Paris is a party" inspired by the Hemingway book The Moveable Feast, whose French title was "Paris est une fête." This was used a lot right after the terrorist attacks of November 2015.
Some of the national slogans are entirely valid, though. I know that Thailand has been using "Amazing Thailand" for at least ten years. The Canadian slogan is also valid, according to the official website.

I don't think I ever saw the US video -- probably just as well. I like "El Salvador -- The 45 Minute Country" Eh??? Poor Syria's is "Always Beautiful".

I'm not really sure if it is the real one or not. I can't quickly see anything definitive on their tourism website.

JEEZUMS!!
So many of these are sooo bad.
I wonder who the hell has the job of designating these?
Wouldn't it be fun for us to come up with our own APIAS list to submit to the various tourism bureaus?
(The 45 minute country for El Salvador, I agree, WTF?)

I wonder if that slogan for the US was generated back when there were only 48 states all stuck together in one land mass. And yes, there are days when I feel that Mexico's slogan is only too accurate.
