Thank you, Casimira! Being out and about in Havana meant being torn between goggling at everything and trying to capture it with the camera.

You may have noticed we took a lot of park pictures, partly because we were in parks trying to pick up wifi and partly because there is so much life going on there.
Here I was trying to get a good shot of the young woman in white. Google "santaría dressing in white" for tons of information on this initiation custom. What got me about some of those initiates is how much style they put into the white clothes stricture ~

Here is something I only managed to capture once, and that was because it was just being set up.
The domino games were fierce and fast moving and we encountered them all around town ~

Havana is suffering from the pandemic just like everywhere else in the world.

The above was posted way back in the beginning of October, but I only now noticed it!

I've watched it twice so far. It's such a thrill to recognize so much of what is shown in the video. Of course I am sad for people losing out on tourist income, but also glad that the Cuban government had the sense to do what so many governments could have done, but didn't.
