Love yout pictures Lugg.....erm the planning committee thought long and hard about that last one didnt they I imagine that angle is only seen from certain highrise buildings tho I received some lovely flowers yesterday, combined them with the ones I already had to fill 2 vases and make a rather strange table arrangement rubbish photos taken with my tablet, but you get the idea...CHRISTMAS FLOWERS Had a couple of christmassy bits and bobs that I used in the arrangement too...but basically I just used up everything left over!

Very nice. I confess that I rarely have flowers at home, but after all I'm a guy. But once in a blue moon I will get some.

I love to have flowers in the house, especially in winter. It's an extravagance I may have to set aside eventually. Air miles etc...most of the roses in the shops here atm are from South Africa.

And when you think that roses originated in Iran... not that far away in comparison.

I love trips to the beach at the end of the year. At least twice I have dipped my feet -- but only my feet -- into the ocean on January 1st. For people who think that might be icy, they are wrong because (not always, I'll admit) the water temperature is higher than the air temperature.

For people who think that might be icy, they are wrong because (not always, I'll admit) the water temperature is higher than the air temperature. I think that is correct mostly . I did actually lose reason and took my boots off and paddled in the sea and did not find it as cold as I expected.

And so the season ended here with video mapping on the Arc de Triomphe and fireworks. Seeing it on television was just fine with me.

It's a good thing that it is not too cold, because that barn needs some walls!

Yes, and winter swimming is fine for those pregnant, but in a heated pool! I'll cuddle up with Livia, both of us post-pregnant for different reasons. Me; ageing out of it, Livia, that nasty operation. She was actually pregnant when we had it done, and we had found her in reciprocal grooming mode with her identical boyfriend. No, not her brother; bro was a Tuxie. A neighbour tom who was also small and utterly black.
